Treetop adventure parks are the newest imported adventure to hit the US.  Following quickly in the footsteps of zipline canopy tours which jumped to the US a short 6 to 7 years ago from Costa Rica and the Caribbean, adventure parks have gained tremendous popularity in Europe with thousands operating in Sweden, France, Belgium and Germany.  There are only a handful in the US at this time and none of this scale and style in North Carolina. Asheville Treetops Adventure Park includes 51 unique climbing, zipping, walking, jumping, swinging and rappelling challenges anchored to over 30 trees and towering poles tucked in a wooded area.  The park has 4 trails to choose from including 1 easy “Green” trail, 2 intermediate trails, “Yellow” and “Orange” and 1 advanced “Red” trail.  Each “Trail” includes 10 to 15 different challenges to complete the circuit. Corporate gatherings, birthday parties and other special groups can be arranged in advance.
